Her hull design ensures efficient and long range navigation with her unique propulsion characteristics, featuring an advanced new generation diesel / electric system with two Azipod fixed pitch propulsion units by ABB. The operational data collected on her initial voyages – including the transatlantic crossing – confirm major achievements in fuel and power consumption, efficiency and remarkable noise and vibration reduction.
