The aim of this project is to create an index that stimulates the yachting market to apply technology that decreases energy demand, raises system efficiency and ultimately reduces environmental impact.

The project group compiled and analysed data of 130 yachts in order to develop a first calculation method to benchmark yachts’ operations. Collectively, we wish to share our progress with the wider yachting community. YETI is still under development, but we welcome and encourage peer-reviewing. Only together and through a pro-active approach we can accelerate sustainability in yachting and future-proof the business.
